I’m hugely proud to announce my collaboration with the legendary guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei (HOTEI) on my new track, Sensei. Hotei is the most iconic Japanese guitarist of all time, best known around the world as the man who wrote the classic Battle Without Honour or Humanity, famously featured in Kill Bill.

I admired Hotei’s work and playing as soon as I heard it, so when our paths crossed, I suggested right away we work together on a project. ‘Sensei’ is the result of that project, a song about the importance of finding people to teach, inspire and guide you, remembering that no matter how far along your journey you are, there’s always more to learn.

HOTEI adds 'while Freddie utilises a wide variety of musical genres, he has chosen the style of Mexican Mariachi this time. It was very challenging but he successful established a new style of guitar music. I think his album (Answer Machine) is so unique and brilliant'
